It’s About Time!

For the past ten years my friends and I have diligently spoken out against a known spiritually abusive “church” located in Sterling, VA. In addition to countless newspaper articles, and television news reports, there are more than a few active blogs outlining specific tragedies brought to hundreds or more individuals and families.

While I will soon add all of the links, as has been done by my fellow bloggers, this blog will be based solely on MY commentary to other blog posts, specifically an anonymous blog entitled, “Tactics of Calvary Temple”.

“Tactics”, for short, is prolific in posts, but none of us knows who the author is. We do not know if Tactics is male or female. The majority of us (and by “us” I mean ex-CTers), believe that he or she attended Calvary Temple, as most of us assumes that he/she is still involved, while some of our little group think that perhaps he/she no longer attends.

Neither matters to me. What does matter is the material written about by Tactics. As you will see, Tactics can be specific, and Tactics can be vague. Not long after Tactics started his/her blog, I began to write my own “take” if you will, on each Tactics’ post. I have long since wanted to do exactly what I am about to do now, and that is start with Tactics’ very first post and, well, comment on it in my own blog.

I am doing this mostly for the record. While posting on Facebook works, it is horrible for archive purposes. Blogs are much more useful.

Regardless, welcome to my Calvary Temple Tactics’ Blog Commentary. This blog is for me, for my family, for my friends, and most of all, for Jesus.
