Molly Fitchs’ most recent post (March 14) on her poignant, and often painful blog, Dear Calvary Temple – Letters to my Children, Family, and Friends has sparked a quiet roar among those in the community who have watched this tragic family dilema play out.

Rachael Denhollander, the first one to speak out against Larry Nassar, American convicted serial child molester who was the USA Gymnastics national team doctor and an osteopathic physician at Michigan State University (Wikipedia: Larry Nassar), is now taking on the megachurch Sovereign Grace. Denhollander grew up in SG, and believes that the leaders do not do enough to bring child sexual abuse to the light, in fact, Rachael contends that they cover up the abuse, protecting the abusers.
In the piece with Martha McCallum, FOX News, Rachael makes these statements: “We need a Spotlight on the Evangelical Church.” “A desire to see churches handle this ‘well’ the way that Christ would.”
This is more than interesting.
We’ve wanted a Spotlight on the Calvary Temple Cult and it’s child sexual abuse for a very long time.
May I remind everyone that Calvary Temple has been under an active investigation by the Loudoun County Sherriff’s Office (LSCSO) for alleged child sexual abuse for going on three years now.
Calvary Temple is a tiny place in comparison to the scope of Soverign Grace, but that does not make the abuse, destruction, and carnage any less. Also, let’s not forget that Bob Scott and C.J. Mahaney were buddies…
