God Says… (3/19/2014)

Like the shortest verse in the Bible, John 11:35 “Jesus wept,” this has to be the shortest Tactics post:

God Says…

For such a little post, I sure have struggled with how to say what’s on my heart. You see, I love the Word of God. I do believe that it brings life to the reader. And while it is wonderful that Tactics’ posts Scripture, I find that I have an issue, or should I say, a concern.

Even after being gone from the Calvary Temple Cult for almost ten years, I can still hear Bob Scott’s wolfish growl from the pulpit as he’s standing there using Scripture to talk down to CT congregants; using the Word of God to further beat up on, enslave, and instill fear in the hearts of the minions. If I close my eyes I can still see him standing up there using his own words to add to and take away from Scripture, which in turn, creates a constant spirit of chaos and confusion within and without, instead of bringing peace, joy, and comfort.

Not only that, but in false churches like Calvary Temple, every verse is a candidate for manipulation for Calvary Temple leadership and members to use against those of us standing to expose it. By the same token, we standers can look at Scripture and say that it applies to wolves like Bob Scott.

I am trying to explain as best I can, and believe me, I understand how difficult it is to get what I’m saying, and I surely hope and pray that you can and do. But, it’s the truth. I can read through Psalm 94 and apply these words to the evil that is the Calvary Temple Cult, and I can believe every word that says that God knows about false shepherds like Bob Scott and that Jesus will soon take him out.

Conversely, cult leaders like Bob Scott can take this very same chapter from the Bible and use it against my fellow standers and me. The CT cult can, and does say that they are the “elect” who are persecuted for righteousness sake, and that we are their enemy; we are the “haters”.

Therein lies one of the major issues, among many, that defines what is wrong with the cult of Calvary Temple. Twisting Scripture is an earmark of a cult or abusive church, and wolf Bob Scott is an expert at it.

I have included below Psalm 94 using the NIV as Tactics did. Try to read through it prayerfully, seeing what God intends you to see. Me? I believe that Tactics meant it as an encouragement to me, to my fellow standers, and to everyone outside of Calvary Temple. I also believe that Tactics meant it as a warning to Bob Scott and Calvary Temple congregants. One day soon, I pray that we will know.

The Bible is meant to be used as a whole living entity, not picked apart to abuse. There are so many Scriptures that speak against what Bob Scott has done, and I have to keep reminding myself of that fact. I know, in my heart, that God HATES what is happening in Calvary Temple. He hates that people’s lives and entire families have been destroyed, and right now are in the midst of destruction. I know that. And I have confidence that Jesus is going to take care of all of this, whether I ever see it or not. I know.

But God!

Folks, Calvary Temple is a blasphemous, abusive place situated on Triple Seven Rd in Sterling, VA. Bob Scott is the head wolf, and along with his henchmen and women, wreaks havoc on the Word of God, and the Calvary Temple Bobites. Bob Scott twists Scripture to capture, enslave, and condemn. Please, do not enter this cult. Do your research. Conduct a Google search. Do not attend any of CT’s so-called “free” events. Remember, nothing is ever really free. CT uses these events to lure in you and your children. Stay far away. Calvary Temple is extremely unsafe.

Psalm 94

The Lord is a God who avenges.
    O God who avenges, shine forth.
Rise up, Judge of the earth;
    pay back to the proud what they deserve.
How long, Lord, will the wicked,
    how long will the wicked be jubilant?

They pour out arrogant words;
    all the evildoers are full of boasting.
They crush your people, Lord;
    they oppress your inheritance.
They slay the widow and the foreigner;
    they murder the fatherless.
They say, “The Lord does not see;
    the God of Jacob takes no notice.”

Take notice, you senseless ones among the people;
    you fools, when will you become wise?
Does he who fashioned the ear not hear?
    Does he who formed the eye not see?
10 Does he who disciplines nations not punish?
    Does he who teaches mankind lack knowledge?
11 The Lord knows all human plans;
    he knows that they are futile.

12 Blessed is the one you discipline, Lord,
    the one you teach from your law;
13 you grant them relief from days of trouble,
    till a pit is dug for the wicked.
14 For the Lord will not reject his people;
    he will never forsake his inheritance.
15 Judgment will again be founded on righteousness,
    and all the upright in heart will follow it.

16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked?
    Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?
17 Unless the Lord had given me help,
    I would soon have dwelt in the silence of death.
18 When I said, “My foot is slipping,”
    your unfailing love, Lord, supported me.
19 When anxiety was great within me,
    your consolation brought me joy.

20 Can a corrupt throne be allied with you—
    a throne that brings on misery by its decrees?
21 The wicked band together against the righteous
    and condemn the innocent to death.
22 But the Lord has become my fortress,
    and my God the rock in whom I take refuge.
23 He will repay them for their sins
    and destroy them for their wickedness;
    the Lord our God will destroy them.
