Hands down, this is one of my all-time favorite Tactics’ blog posts. Truly priceless. If you haven’t already, go and look at the video.
Are you rolling on the floor laughing? Or are you sitting there, like me, thinking to yourself, “That guy just explained in less than 60 seconds, a so-called sermon or teaching given by Bob Scott, Calvary Temple Cult leader on any given Sunday or Wednesday.”
Pathetic.
One of the reasons why I love this blog post so much, and why I was looking forwarding to posting a commentary on it, is because Tactics posted it the very next day after this was posted:
Tactics’ post from May 1, 2015: A Mere Slip of the Forked Tongue?
Here is my commentary on the May 1st post that I wrote and put up yesterday (10/20/2021): A Mere Slip of the Forked Tongue? (MCTTBC)
I just had to get this up. Today.
Timing is everything, or so they say…
While funny, it is at the same time sickening and heartbreaking. If you have read my story, then you know that towards the end of my tenure in the CT cult, Bob Scott was talking in circles – even back then in 2007! When I took notes – which wasn’t very often there at the end – I would write things like, “He has said nothing! I sat here for an hour and he has said nothing of value!” Or, I would simply doodle and daydream, praying and wishing that I was anyplace else besides there in Calvary Temple.
Terrible back then, and even more horrendous now.
If you value your salvation, and your sanity, please do not step foot into Calvary Temple located in Sterling, VA. You will gain nothing. In fact, you could lose everything – yourself, your family, your children, your common-sense thinking, and just about everything else.
Never forget that Calvary Temple members are under an active investigation conducted by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) resulting in one arrest and conviction to date.
This is far from over. But God!
I will leave you with the Bible verses that Tactics’ provided in the May 2 post:
But God says, “My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth” (1 John 3:18). “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment” (Matthew 12:36). “And the prophets shall become wind, and the word is not in them: thus shall it be done unto them” (Jeremiah 5:13). (emphasis added by me)
