To continue from my post on February 6, 2024, 2 + 2 = 5, regarding gaslighting in the Church and Calvary Temple, I think that there are many people out there who don’t believe that this is happening and will disregard my warning. Many will say that gaslighting doesn’t happen to Christians. Unfortunately, gaslighting does happen to the Christians, perpetrated by other Christians, or supposed Christian leaders.
If you’ve followed my blog since my first post, It’s About Time! in June 2017, you will hopefully come to the realization that gaslighting is not a new phenomenon reserved for political circles. That there are people out in the world who desire power and control and will gain it at any cost. Yes, even in the Church, especially in the Church, unfortunately.
While my blog focuses on Star Robert “Bob” Scott and Calvary Temple located in Sterling, VA, this isn’t the only place where people are being manipulated and controlled.
What makes me the saddest, especially in Christian circles, is that people like Bob Scott use the Word of God, twisting Scripture to subvert God and His love, making captives out of congregants, and completely undoing what Jesus came to do – and that is to set all of us free. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again – Bob Scott tramples the Blood of Jesus under his feet, every day.
In the second paragraph, as I read through the list of names Tactics’ includes, I admit to a deep sadness when I realize that every person named, but three, is still fully and firmly ensconced in Bob Scott’s Calvary Temple, each now gaslighting themselves, their family – which now includes children and grandchildren – and anyone outside of Calvary Temple who dares to challenge Bob Scott’s tactics and manipulations.
Can we take a moment and thank God for the three who are now free from Calvary Temple! Praise God! If I missed any freed captives, please either comment or send me an email. I want to rejoice with you!
This blog has always been written with the hope that members of Calvary Temple will allow God’s Holy Spirit to speak to them, to allow God to open their eyes, break the chains of bondage and gaslighting, and head out the door to freedom.
Gaslighting creates chains of bondage. Only God can break those chains.

Also, even though Tactics cites Psalm 61:3 in the title, it isn’t included in the post; however, Tactics title is Psalm 61:3. It’s a personal message from Jesus, Himself.
We should all trust Jesus as our refuge and strong tower against the enemy, whether it’s a wolf in sheep’s clothing, a false shepherd, an authoritarian leader, or when we’ve been gaslighted. I have included it here:
What Pastor Scott has done to most of us is diabolical. Horrible really. He has desensitized our consciences as we participated/sat quietly by so our families could be “murdered” (destroyed, cast away, shipwrecked, defamed). We know how Pastor uses our blood relationships against us as though it was a curse of affection we must fight against.
Stop. Think. We are Gods own blood. He made us. He loves us. He came to rescue us. He does not threaten us. He does not avoid us. Actually he draws near to us. He will help us right our wrongs! Yes even us: Mike and Emily, Hannah, German and Erin, Megan, Kristy, Tony and Lisa, Steve, Kevin, Keith and Debbie, Erica, Cindy, Tom and Katherine, Kevin and Chris, Susan, Pat, Mike and Debbie, Dan and Yelena, Roy and Karen, Donna and Rick, Sarah, Christina, Brian, Jonathan and Carly, Jay and Donna, Mike and Sarah, Josh, John David and Jamie, Joe, George and Sarah, etc., etc…
Hurry, judgement is at the door. Just cry out to Jesus for help. Pastor has lied to us. Only God can help us now.
But God says, “Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it” (Luke 6:9). “And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:31-32). “Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house” (Luke 5:23-24). “But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of. For the Son of man is not come to destroy men’s lives, but to save them. And they went to another village” (Luke 9:55-56).

As always, I will end with this. Please stay away from Calvary Temple located on Triple Seven Rd in Sterling, VA. Bob Scott has been responsible for the destruction of hundreds of families and is currently under an active investigation by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office for allegations of child sexual abuse. One Calvary Temple member has already been tried and convicted in Loudoun County.
Please, before you attend any church, do a simple Google search, or better yet use Duck Duck Go. I can recommend several churches, if you are interested, especially Cornerstone Chapel in Leesburg, VA – but Google it, too!
