Going Far Afield For Fresh Meat (4/25/15)

What an interesting way to begin a blog post:

Definition of Fresh Meat: innocents and con-artists we lure into our church under the propaganda banner of Love/Virtue/Integrity. The further afield We go, the godly-errr we think Us are.

But, I suppose that I am doing the same thing, aren’t I?

I honestly do not think that a commentary from me is vital for understanding what Tactics is saying in this post from April 2015, Going Far Afield For Fresh Meat.

Quite frankly, Tactics is saying that people are a commodity. What is a commodity? In the economic and financial realm – and I’m paraphrasing here – it is something to be used or sold for monetary gain.

Translation? Calvary Temple goes, ‘far afield for fresh meat’ to line Bob Scott’s coffers.

Who benefits?

Bob Scott. And only Bob Scott.

He doesn’t care about you. He doesn’t care about his congregants. You are a commodity. He only cares about himself and financial gain. He lives a lavish life off of the backs of Calvary Temple, and anyone they can dupe into becoming a member.

But – Tactics is saying something else. Tactics is calling those of us who have been taken in by Bob Scott’s lies, ‘Dupes’ and ‘Suckers’.

What is that old saying, “There’s a sucker born every minute?” Although attributed to P.T. Barnham, he really wasn’t the kind of person who would disparage other people; however, the adage was used by gamblers and confidence tricksters. You know. People like Star R Scott.

Tactics was definitely thinking about tricksters and hucksters because this blog post included a link for a 2014 post, The Playbook of a Gambling Man. Here is my commentary on that one: MCTTBC Commentary for The Playbook of a Gambling Man. Worth reading both again, in my humble opinion.

And don’t be offended by being called a dupe or sucker. We trusted someone that was supposed to be trustworthy! Afterall, doesn’t Bob Scott call himself a pastor???

Tactics goes on to say:

Who is in need of Fresh Revenue for his coffers. Fresh Bodies to help turn the cogs of his giant Meat Grinder. Fresh Meat for sale at:

• Local community events
• Our basketball games here and in PA
• Prison ministry
• Juvenile detention system
• Africa
• DC: the cosmopolitan area filled with far from home folks

Tactics is putting it all on the table, don’t you think? We/you are: fresh revenue; fresh bodies, fresh meat fit for Bob Scott’s meat grinder.

Sick. Yuck. Putrid.

I am revulsed and sickened by the fact that Bob Scott, a supposed ‘man of God’, entices and lures people into his cult for monetary gain.

Okay. I have to stop commenting on this. It makes me physically ill to say more. I pray that you see Bob Scott as a despot, and Calvary Temple as unsafe and dangerous.

What I do want to say is that despite Bob Scott, Jesus is King.

Not you, Bob. And because you have made yourself an idol, this is not going to end well for you. Unless you bow the knee and repent.

Enough.

Most importantly for those of you reading this, I believe with all of my heart that Jesus not only knows about Bob Scott and Calvary Temple, but Jesus hears our prayers. He hears our cries. And, Jesus will protect His Word. Of that I have no doubt.

So, take heart, all of you standing with me. Keep praying. Keep speaking out. Be that Watchman on the Wall.

Expose those wolves.

Trust Jesus. I know that He’s got this.

In the meantime, if you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, today is the day of your salvation. See The Good News on this blog.

Be of good cheer and of good courage, for our God goes before us.

And, for the sake of all of you, stay away from the Calvary Temple cult in Sterling, VA.

Tactics ended with these Scripture verses:
