Star Robert Scott (BS) just recently *hosted an all-day love-and-worship-fest for and to himself, indelibly engraving the last 50 years of his indoctrination work into the non-existent book about the Calvary Temple authoritative cult (there isn’t one, but there should be) – the day that documented Bob Scott’s career spanning from 1973 – 2023, from Bakersfield, California to Sterling, Virginia – showcasing his everlasting goals and accomplishments of trapping and brainwashing people, making them just like him. As Tactics first reported in 2015, this group can still be labeled as Bob Scott’s own band, or gang of “Calvaryites,” a specific designation of “special people” coined and attributed to Tony Wozniak, head CT Wolf (my preferred moniker for CT higher-ups) in Kenya, Africa.

*As a side note, in the future I will be posting the entire transcript of that almost 7-hour event, along with the BS 50-year timeline. All I can say is that it was fascinating, disgusting, and heart-wrenching to watch Bob Scott take all the glory away from Jesus Christ.
But, for today, as I trust in the Lord’s perfect timing, it is no surprise that I find myself sitting down to write.
In my quiet time with the Lord this morning, I read the 2 Corinthians 10 passage that Tactics includes in Band of…What!? In God’s economy, I had no idea that what I read this morning would be perfectly connected to Tactics’ message from May 2015 and that the Lord would seamlessly marry the two together, as only He can do.
The Scripture struck a chord with me because Bob Scott is always criticizing churches, locally and all over the world. If you listen to any of his so-called “teachings” over the past years, you can time him…like clockwork, on average, in the first few minutes of opening his mouth, he will trash all other churches, always comparing Calvary Temple to everyone else. And, of course, Calvary Temple is the only church that gets anything right.
Here’s my question: HOW DOES HE KNOW????
I did a modicum of research this morning for this blog piece and immediately found this from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (GCTS). Here’s a little history of GCTS:
“Under the leadership of famed evangelist Rev. Billy Graham, Dr. Harold John Ockenga, and philanthropist J. Howard Pew, who saw the need for a strong, evangelical seminary in the Northeast, Conwell School of Theology (originally a part of Temple University in Philadelphia, PA) merged with Gordon Divinity School (formerly the Boston Missionary Training Institute, then Gordon College of Theology and Mission) in 1969. Their combined vision for the newly-formed Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary was to “establish within a strong evangelical framework, an independent, interdenominational seminary whose constituents are united in the belief that the Bible is the infallible, authoritative Word of God…consecrated to educating men and women in all facets of gospel outreach.”
Upon just a quick inspection of the “Status of Global Christianity, 2023”, you will see that:
- 32.4 percent of the world identifies as Christian
- 2,482,982,000 Affiliated Christians
- 121,400,000 Unaffiliated Christians
- 47,300 Denominations
- 4,200,000 Congregations
- 271,870,000 Christians in North America alone
It is a fascinating chart presented in the context of starting with the year 1900 and projecting out to the year 2050!
But, back to Calvary Temple and Bob Scott…I have so many questions – The most basic question being:
How can Bob Scott stand up week after week and make blanket statements about things that he can’t know for certain?
Yet he does. Time after time. Service after service. Word after word. Arrogance upon arrogance. Continually comparing his 250-member organization/quasi–Home Fellowship Group with THE Church of Christ; the BILLION-PLUS Global Church membership of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!.
Here are the Scriptures Tactics quoted:
But God says, “For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise” (2 Corinthians 10:12). “Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch” (Matthew 15:14). “His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber” (Isaiah 56:10). “For they that are such serve not our Lord Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by good words and fair speeches deceive the hearts of the simple” (Romans 16:18).
God’s Words go directly to the heart of the message that I hope I am conveying today:
Do not check your critical thinking skills at the door of any church. That is exactly what people like Star Robert Scott want you to do. If you buy what he is selling hook, line, and sinker, then you are like the blind following the blind, and the ditch you are about to fall into may be nigh impossible to get out of.
But God!
Blind and Sleeping Calvaryites – hear this message!
It is not too late! Jesus loves you and is calling to you, telling you to wake up! Listen to Jesus and His Holy Spirit! Open your eyes!
The time is short. Jesus is on the horizon. Put away your false idol – Bob Scott – and follow Jesus.
THINK ABOUT IT…think about what he says, and look at what he does; truly see the hoops he makes you jump through, and the chaos and confusion he creates in your life and family. Who are you thinking about all the time? I bet if you are honest, you will say “Pastor Scott” – and not Jesus.
Be Honest.
While these next paragraphs are a repeat from my last blog post (with minor edits), it is just as true today as the last time you heard from me:
Keep your distance from Bob Scott and Calvary Temple, located in Sterling, VA. Never forget that members of Calvary Temple are still under an active investigation into child sexual abuse by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO), culminating in one arrest and conviction to date.
To Bob Scott: Bow the knee, Bob. Publicly admit what you’ve done. Be a man and accept the consequences. Jesus is faithful and just to forgive you. BUT. You must take yourself off your man-made pedestal. HUMBLE YOURSELF. I would advise you to do this sooner rather than later.
To my readers and residents of Loudoun County: There are many wonderful churches in the area, specifically Cornerstone Chapel, in Leesburg, VA.
If you value your family and the lives of your children, if you value your own life – STAY AWAY FROM CALVARY TEMPLE. Please. Do not fall prey to Bob Scott. Use your God-given critical thinking skills.
