While this September 8, 2014, Tactics post, Abuse Begets Abuse, is very clear to ex-CTers and most likely, Calvary Temple members (Bobites), it must be shocking for folks outside of all-things-Calvary-Temple-Cult, to read.
Tactics writes:
“We have two dozen or so young adults/adults who never see or talk to their parent/parents. On pastor’s orders. First the pastors destroy us, and then teach us to destroy those we love.
Take heed! We each must restore ALL of those broken relationships (some are decades old), inflicted by children, upon their parents, at the direction of our pastor. Our whole church has contributed to this “murdering” (Strong’s definition of the word “murder”: to trample, thresh, tread under foot) of fathers and mothers.”
I’ve read this post a dozen times to prepare to write my commentary today, and as usual, I sit here shaking my head (SMH), yet again.
How awful is the reality of this post?
Looking at that first paragraph, each word is like a shock; a slap. Dozens of children now grown to adulthood, who have nothing to do with their parents. If that isn’t enough to make you shudder, next comes these statements: “On pastor’s orders.”
What? A so-called “pastor” orders this disgusting behavior? Yes. Not only does this non-pastor – this wolf – order this sinful activity, but Tactics reveals one of the main agendas of Wolf Bob Scott:
First, he destroys the kids as they grow into adulthood in this cult, then he additionally teaches not only the kids but anyone and everyone in that cult, how to destroy “those we love”.
Tactics goes on in the second paragraph and implores the members of CTC to restore ALL of these broken relationships, rightly saying that there are far too many, and these estrangements (a far too kind word for what is really going on here) have lasted far too long.
Inflicted by children. Upon their parents. At the direction of a Wolf.
Tactics finishes with this proclamation: “Our whole church has contributed to this “murdering” (Strong’s definition of the word “murder”: to trample, thresh, tread under foot) of fathers and mothers.”
Murder? Surely Tactics exaggerates.
No. Not in the least. (re-read Strong’s definition: “to trample, thresh, tread under foot…”).
Allow me to offer 1 John 3:15: From The Message, “The way we know we’ve been transferred from death to life is that we love our brothers and sisters. Anyone who doesn’t love* is as good as dead. Anyone who hates a brother or sister is a murderer, and you know very well that eternal life and murder don’t go together.” (This link lists every Biblical translation for this verse: https://www.biblegateway.com/verse/en/1%20John%203%3A15)
*CT Bobite Qualifier alert: this will be the topic for another post, but, believe it or not, Calvary Temple members see the abhorent behavior revealed in this post as, “love”. Sick, but true.
Now that we’ve examined that word “murder” it isn’t difficult to correlate Calvary Temple member’s actions with their non-loving (hating), murderous responses to those who don’t step into Bob Scott’s rank and file.
Cutting off relationships is but one of the many symptoms that proves how sick and toxic Bob Scott and his cult really is.
Remember that Bob Scott thinks nothing of throwing children out into the street in the middle of winter with nothing but the clothes on their backs. He thinks that it’s fine to put grown women away, locking them up in a hotel room, separating them from their children and husbands. He thinks nothing of lying and cheating to get his own way while continuing to live his lavish lifestyle off of the backs of his hard-working Bobites.
Exaggeration?
Not on your life.
Wait. There’s more.
Remember, this is the same “pastor” who cited Deuteronomy to order parents to treat their kids like they were dead, simply because they no longer wanted to be part of this disgusting, abusive place. (Deuteronomy 21:18-21)
How is this a “church”???? Believe me when I tell you, it is anything but.
Tactics pleads for the Bobites to put an end to all of this; to reach out to their loved ones who have either left this hell-hole, or to those who were never a part but were cut-off anyway because they were either suspicious or openly critical of Calvary Temple and dared to try to warn…
Believe me, Tactics…that is the prayer of all of us out here standing, praying, hoping, trusting…and yes, speaking out.
Why do we speak out? This is a rhetorical question based on the evidence we share; the horrible stories and testimonies that we speak…
BECAUSE THIS IS WRONG!
This is so wrong on every level, but specifically wrong because of what Bob Scott does to God’s Word to accomplish all of this evil. He twists and manipulates Scripture to accomplish his own selfishness.
THIS MUST END.
Members of Calvary Temple, specifically the children who are now young adults and have cut off your parents, your loved ones…I KNOW that the Holy Spirit is speaking to you. I KNOW that you KNOW deep down in your heart that this is wrong. You KNOW how much you love your mom and dad; how much you miss your siblings, your family, your friends. I KNOW that you KNOW that what Bob Scott does is NOT God’s love.
I KNOW THAT YOU KNOW THIS!
Please! Please wake up!
As Tactics says, “Take heed! We [you] must restore ALL of these broken relationships.”
ALL OF THEM.
But God!
To the Sterling and outlying communities, this is real. This is going on RIGHT NOW and has been going on for decades. Please keep you and your family safe. Never set foot onto the grounds of Calvary Temple. If you think that this could never happen to you, think again. Calvary Temple is a known authoritative and abusive cult that has a history of separating families…it’s all in a day’s work for Wolf Bob Scott.
Stay far, far, far away.
