Deception 101 (11/11/14)

While every word of this November 11, 2014, post Deception 101, from Tactics is true, I can’t help but cringe when I read them:

“The practice of deception is not occasional or accidental in our church. It is a studied art. Pastor has spent years carefully crafting his words and ways to abide within the retaining walls of doctrine, tradition and the law. One way he imparts his lies to us is through repetition. He tells us over and over again what to do or not to do. Examples:

• “Lets go over this one more time. When you write out your tuition check for your kids here at the school, do not put tuition on the memo portion of your check. Put ‘DT offering’. We are not a school.”
• “How many times do I have to tell you all? You cannot help these people – we have spent hours trying. Stay away from them. Do not talk to them.”
• “We are under satanic attack – do not read the letters you receive in the mail. Do not read stuff on the internet. We will tell you what you need to know.””

I cringe because of the harshness that I can hear when I read Bob Scott’s word choices. Evident is the manipulation and the downright disdain that this supposed ‘man of God’ has for the people that attend Calvary Temple.

Can you hear it? “Let’s go over this one more time…” Can you easily inject the words, “you idiots!” to the end of that sentence? I can. And I believe that is exactly how he feels about every single person who has ever been part of that place.

“How many times do I have to tell you all?” Again, this is what I hear: “Here I go again. These people are so stupid. Why do I have to keep saying this?”

And don’t you just love that last one? “We will tell you what you need to know.”

Right.

Oh, Bob Scott. Fast forward to 2019 and I know for certain that your wolfly ways have not changed one bit. Your hatred for everyone and everything – except for yourself, of course – is still evident even today. On occasion since leaving your cult I have listened to your ‘teachings’ and I still hear sneering and contempt in your voice, and your words still, and even more so, belittle and patronize the very people who pay for your lavish lifestyle. You still think that you can get away with everything that you do and every word that you say. You still presume that you are above the law and that you can do whatever you want.

But, Bob, your day is coming. I have always known this. You will stand before THE Judge and give an account for all the harm you have done, and the destruction you have caused. You are a thief, Bob…a thief, a liar, and a destroyer of lives and entire family units.

I really don’t know how you can live with yourself, Bob.

To the readers of this blog and to the members of the Sterling communities and surrounding areas…go back and read those three paragraphs that Tactics highlights and ask yourself if a true man of God would talk like that…from the pulpit…during a church service…

You are correct. A true man of God would not.

Calvary Temple is a known abusive and authoritative cult located on Triple Seven Rd in Sterling, VA. Members of this place are under a long-time and still very active investigation for child sexual abuse by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO). Do a quick Google search.
