I have to begin this post by saying that as usual, I watched Bob Scott’s Calvary Temple broadcast this morning, and as usual, it was hands down, 100% awful.
However, I always find it amazing when I discern that God is leading me to sit down and write a blog post, only to realize yet again, that God’s timing is perfect. And today is no exception.
Although I am more than five (5) years behind in my Tactics of Calvary Temple commentaries this post from May 22, 2015, could very well have been written and posted today.
No Joke can stand on its own without any explanation from me. Tactics’ records Bob Scott’s exact words spat from his faux pulpit – words of condemnation and judgment, harsh and cruel. He claims to know exactly what is contained in the hearts of people, even though the Word of God explicitly states that we cannot even know our own hearts, let alone the hearts of others. SMH.
The following is the transcript from Bob Scott:
…and whoever that person or persons are that think it is a joke to sit here among us i would love to see Gods presence come into our midst and him be glorified and purify his church. I would love to see the glory of God and those that would mock and think that there is no holy spirit power…no desire for Gods church to be holy. Those that would stand and mock and become hypocrites to the degree that they have to know that God is among us, he will not be mocked praise God…and though we move in forgiveness God because of his omniscience…sovereignty meets justice-not us. We have no right to take up the role, to take up being judge and jury, God is. We need to believe that there will be a visitation of God in our midst that will purify us. Purge out that leaven. When we see leaven, wolves, purged out…that thats among us needs to go out from among us or die. Now is this something we would be manufacturing because of some personal vendetta? No, its about God and his glory, this is not something we are making up, it was originated in the heart of God. Why have you chosen to lie to the Holy Ghost? And God will not be mocked. It is important to remember what was happening in Sterling at Bob Scott’s Calvary Temple in the spring of 2015. The Loudoun Times-Mirror (LTM) reporter, Crystal Owens, had begun her highly acclaimed and nominated series on the Calvary Temple Cult (See my VIP Links page for the LTM articles) whose first article spurred weekly protests. Those protests occurred every Sunday across the street from Calvary Temple for one full year.
There were (and still are) accusations of child sexual abuse, authoritative spiritual abuse, children put out of the house, families divided and destroyed, debauchery and lasciviousness within and without the walls of Calvary Temple, and so much more – accusations and filed claims from victims that spurred the Loudoun County Sherriff’s Office into action. LCSO would later make one arrest – to date. That arrest led to the conviction of one Calvary Temple member. There are more accusations that are still being investigated. Make no mistake, Calvary Temple and its members are part of an ongoing active investigation. This investigation has lasted over seven (7) years.
So, I get a tad riled up when this man – this wolf – has the audacity to stand in front of people, judging and condemning, when he too has committed egregious acts that should not only expel him from his position but should also see him behind bars!
This is what Tactics is saying in this piece from 2015: not only is Bob Scott a hypocrite, but he has essentially pronounced his own judgment:
Actually Pastor, you may have spoken your judgement. God does after all tell us that by our words we are justified or condemned. Do you suppose the crazy bad bike accident of Pastor Les awhile ago was God judging his shepherd? Or the heart attack Pastor Gardner just had is judgement of hidden sin? (Have either of these sowed division of families? God hates those who sow discord.) Of course, you know well all the hidden sins you are covering up in our church. And you’re right. God will not be mocked. By you or any of of the pastors. Repent and restore what you have taken away. Confess the lies you have told. Beg forgiveness of those you have shamed and destroyed. You may not have much time left. The clock is ticking. Oh by the way, this is no joke.
But God says, “For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned” (Matthew 12:37). “But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord: They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof. Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices. For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them” (Proverbs 1:25-32).

My final point – and honestly, the only point that I was compelled to make today, and perhaps the most important – is that after watching Bob Scott this morning, there was not one word, sentence, thought, utterance; not one single solitary point spoken today by that guy that would bring life, or peace, or joy to anyone, let alone point someone to Jesus and His saving grace and salvation. There was not one word of hope today. Not one.
While Bob Scott stands there judging others – other people, other churches, other anything – he is bringing darkness and despair to anyone and everyone who hears his voice.
In other words, fast forward from 2015 to 2022 and it’s “business as usual” for Bob Scott and his false kingdom. Nothing has changed except that Bob Scott has gotten older, and his message is just as twisted, nasty and dead; there is no life in Calvary Temple.
And that, my dear reader, is simply too awful to not say something about. Bob Scott spoke not one redeeming word, then and now. Not even one.
But God!
I believe that Jesus is on His throne and that He knows all about Bob Scott, his deeds, his lies, his greed, his lasciviousness, and perversions, and every one of his actions. Period.
I believe that for such a time as this God is revealing Bob Scott’s evil work, and He is whittling away at Bob Scott’s false narrative and slowly removing him from his pseudo throne.
But, while God is working, I will continue to be a Watchman on the Wall, and I will continue to warn.
Stay away from Bob Scott and his faux ‘church’ Calvary Temple, located in Sterling, VA. The Living God does not reside there.
Never forget that members of Calvary Temple are still under an active investigation into child sexual abuse by the Loudoun County Sherriff’s Office (LCSO), culminating in one arrest and conviction to date.
To LCSO: you have your hands full – DO NOT forget about the sexual assaults at Calvary Temple.
There are many wonderful churches in the area, specifically Cornerstone Chapel, in Leesburg, VA.
If you value your family and the lives of your children, if you value your own life – STAY AWAY FROM CALVARY TEMPLE.
