Silence is Golden (01/28/15)

Good morning, all. So much is going on in the world right now, namely the Corona Virus or COVID-19. Whole countries have shut down, and are suffering. People are not listening to the experts and panicking, divesting stores of anything and everything, right down to the last roll of toilet paper.

But, despite all of this, I can’t stop doing what I’ve been doing for over a decade, and that is continuing to stand up and speak out against Bob Scott and Calvary Temple. This organization continues to threaten and destroy children, marriages, and entire family units. Coronaviruses are nasty and horrible. But men and women who manipulate, sexually abuse, and destroy others for gain, is one of the most reprehensible acts against humanity.

Dramatic? Possibly. The truth? 100%

In today’s commentary, Tactics doesn’t hold back on criticizing people who know what goes on in Calvary Temple and say nothing. If anything, Tactics puzzles why people who finally see the Truth about what kind of place Bob Scott is actually running in an affluent suburb located in Sterling, VA, extricated themselves and their families, yet won’t speak out so that others will get out, too. How free ex-CTers remain silent and do not help others to freedom. These people who are no longer blind, and deaf will not say anything; do anything to keep people safe from manipulation, deceit, and destruction.

Why?! Why, indeed?

Silence is Golden

This is what Tactics has to say about ex-CTers silence:

The golden rule – do unto others as you do unto yourself. Would you let yourself walk into a trap? Would you let your family be destroyed by a religious conman and his paid henchmen? Of course not. Many decent guys have managed to get their families out of Calvary Temple in tact and relatively unhurt. When they saw the danger. But why silence now? Someone said, “Silence is the residue of fear.” It is definitely not golden. The only people that thrive in silence are the wicked. As long as they can silence you, their wicked deeds can go undetected. More trusting people will fall prey to their lying lips and deceitful charm. Who will speak up? Who will defend those appointed to slaughter? Who will sound a cry of alarm? Speak up.

In early 2015, I was just starting to comment on Tactics’ posts. This was my commentary on this Tactics piece. I wrote this in real-time and it was brief:

WOW. WOW. WOW. Very interesting (and very much needed…) post…Who out there is ready and willing to speak up? Hmmm…? I lost my family and I speak up. Those of you who still have yours…where is your voice? Just asking… Perhaps today is the day… I will leave it at that…for now…

Fast forward to March 2020 – and still – so much silence. So quiet you can hear crickets…or maybe the bleating of… sheep.

Tactics included a YouTube link (now broken) to the 1967 hit by The Tremeloes entitled, Silence is Golden. (The intact link is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n03g8nsaBro).

Looking at the lyrics, I find it easy to see why Tactics used this particular song. It perfectly illustrates the mindset of Calvary Temple Bobites:

Oh don’t it hurt deep inside
To see someone do something to her
Oh don’t it pain to see someone cry
How especially if that someone is her

Silence is golden
But my eyes still see
Silence is golden, golden
But my eyes still see

Talking is cheap people follow like sheep
Even though there is no where to go
How could she tell he deceived her so well
Pity she’ll be the last one to know

Silence is golden
But my eyes still see
Silence is golden, golden
But my eyes still see

How many times will she fall for his lines
Should I tell her or should I be cool
And if I tried I know she’d say I lied
Mind your business don’t hurt her you fool

Silence is golden
But my eyes still see
Silence is golden, golden
But my eyes still see
But my eyes still see
But my eyes still see

Telling, don’t you think? How can you “see” and not say anything?

In closing, this particular Tactics piece was, and still is powerful. Take a moment to read Tactics words again…they bear repeating:

Speak up.

“The only people that thrive in silence are the wicked.” “Speak up.”

On a personal note:

I have always said that this is about Jesus and His Word. Bob Scott twists and manipulates Scripture for his own selfish reasons. He doesn’t care about anyone or anything but himself. Scott tramples the Blood of Jesus under his feet, every day.

That’s the number one reason why I speak up; why I stand.

But God says, “When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul” (Ezekiel 3:18-19). “Wherefore I take you to record this day, that I am pure from the blood of all men. For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears” (Acts 20:26-27,29-31). “When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long. For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah. I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the Lord; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah” (Psalms 32:3-5).
