I’m Back! An Update from My Heart

Hi everyone!

I know it’s been a while…well…it’s actually been a very long while since I’ve written here. Sometimes it’s mind-boggling to look back and realize just how much life can change in a few short years. So here’s the quick version…

After moving back to West Virginia, I became deeply involved in my community. I served on our HOA Board and several committees, helped supervise our community pools, became a weekend receptionist for a local real estate brokerage, and eventually earned my West Virginia real estate license.

Oh…and I became a Grandma!!

Without question, that has been one of God’s sweetest blessings in my life.

And then…

My kids moved to Vermont’s beautiful Northeast Kingdom.

YIKES!

And…

I followed them!

Yep. It’s true.

Needless to say, life has been wonderfully full, and I’ve stayed pretty busy. But through it all, this blog—and all of you—have never been far from my heart.

So…

I’m back, baby!

Over these past several years, the Lord has drawn me closer to Him than ever before. My desire to know Him more deeply has only continued to grow. As I study Scripture, I believe we are living in extraordinary days. I personally believe that time is short, that we are living in the last days, and that the return of our Lord is drawing near.

Because of that conviction, I believe there has never been a more important time for believers to faithfully share Jesus Christ and to be the light He has called us to be in an increasingly dark world.

With that purpose in mind, I recently started a YouTube channel called Becoming Still. My prayer is that it will encourage anyone who longs to draw closer to the Lord, to grow in His Word, and to hear His still, small voice more clearly.

I also wanted to let you know that I haven’t forgotten this ministry. I am still here. I am still standing. And I remain committed to exposing manipulation and deception wherever they may be found.

While doing a little housekeeping on the site, I realized I had never uploaded an important David Wilkerson newsletter from August/September 2007 about Luke 15 and the Prodigal Son. That message was instrumental in opening my own deceived eyes and heart and ultimately helping lead me out of Calvary Temple. I’ve now added it to the DOCS page, and I’m thankful to finally have corrected that long-overdue oversight.

Finally, I wanted to share the link to my YouTube channel. My prayer is simple: that the Father would use it to encourage and strengthen everyone who sincerely desires a closer walk with Him.

Until next time…

Put on the whole armor of God (Ephesians 6:10–18). Guard your heart, because your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour (1 Peter 5:8). Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you (James 4:8).

And Church…

Look up!

“For your redemption draweth nigh.” (Luke 21:28)

May the Lord richly bless you, keep you, strengthen you, and draw each one of us ever closer to Himself in these days ahead.
