I know Tactics wrote this piece.
What I don’t know is who Tactics was referring to when he wrote it.
This post, Sigh, is dated July 23, 2015, and there is no accompanying video or additional explanation. So I don’t know who the “lone figure” was that Tactics says God sent to confront Bob Scott. I don’t know who the “nobody” was that Tactics later refers to. And I don’t know the specific circumstances that prompted this particular post.
But I do know what I read.
And I know what I lived.
There is an unmistakable weariness running through this piece. Tactics begins with, “The break was great,” and then immediately asks, “Who wants to keep pounding away at a knucklehead such as yourself Pastor?”
That tells me this wasn’t written casually.
Someone was tired.
Tired of confronting what Tactics believed was happening at Calvary Temple. Tired of watching people warn Bob Scott. Tired of watching those people, according to Tactics, be destroyed, mocked and slandered rather than heard.
And that part of this piece is not difficult for me to understand.
I know what spiritual authority can do to a family when it is misused.
I lived it.
My family lived it.
And that is why, even though I don’t know the circumstances behind every word Tactics wrote in 2015, I recognize the pattern he is describing.
There is another Scripture that comes to my mind when I read this post.
Ezekiel 34.
Tactics used several passages from Revelation here, and those passages certainly speak about repentance, judgment and accountability.
But Ezekiel 34 speaks directly about shepherds and sheep.
God condemns shepherds who feed themselves instead of the flock. He condemns them for failing to strengthen the weak, heal the sick, bind up the injured and seek the lost. And then God says the sheep were scattered because there was no shepherd.
Then comes the part that should make anyone entrusted with the care of God’s people pay very close attention:
“Behold, I am against the shepherds.”
— Ezekiel 34:10, ESV
That’s not a small statement.
God takes the treatment of His sheep seriously.
And that is why I believe Ezekiel 34 belongs beside this Tactics post.
Because this isn’t ultimately about one blog writer’s frustration with one man.
It’s about what happens when someone entrusted with spiritual authority forgets that the sheep don’t belong to him.
They belong to God.
I can’t tell you who Tactics was referring to in every sentence of this post.
I’m not going to make up the missing pieces.
But I can tell you what I see from my own experience.
I know people who were hurt.
I know families that were damaged.
I know people who were driven away rather than cared for.
And I see the same biblical warning that God gave thousands of years ago to shepherds who failed His sheep.
God sees them.
God knows what happened to them.
And God holds shepherds accountable for how they treat them.
That is where this gets personal for me.
I left Calvary Temple in December 2007.
It is now 2026.
Nearly two decades later, I am still talking about what happened—not because I enjoy “pounding away” at anybody, but because what happened had consequences that didn’t end when I walked out the door.
My family was affected.
Other families were affected.
And I know I’m not the only person who walked away carrying wounds that took years to understand.
So when Tactics wrote in 2015 about sheep being “scattered and bruised,” those words don’t feel theoretical to me.
I know what scattered looks like.
I know what bruised looks like.
And I know that quoting Scripture while exercising authority does not automatically make the exercise of that authority biblical.
The question is always: Does it look like the Shepherd?
Jesus said:
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”
— John 10:11, ESV
That’s the standard.
Not a man’s title.
Not his position.
Not how many people follow him.
Not whether people are afraid to question him.
Jesus.
The Good Shepherd.
And when spiritual leadership begins producing wounded, scattered sheep instead of caring for them, strengthening them and leading them toward Christ, Ezekiel 34 gives us a reason to stop and take a very serious look at what is happening.
So no, I don’t know who Tactics was referring to when he wrote about the “nobody” God sent to confront Bob Scott.
But I don’t need to invent that person’s identity to understand the warning.
And I don’t need to know every detail behind this particular post to know my own story.
I know what happened to me.
I know what happened to my family.
And I know that the things Tactics was writing about in 2015 are not ancient history to me.
It’s 2026.
And I’m still here telling the story.

And I’m going to say this again, because I believe it needs to be said.
Stay away from Calvary Temple.
And I would say the same thing any church or ministry operating with the same kind of authoritarian practices.
If you’re thinking about going there, do your homework first.
Google it.
Read the history.
Read what former members have written.
Read the news reports.
Read my VIP LINKS and VIP DOCS pages.
Know before you go.
And here’s something people need to understand about Northern Virginia.
People move there. A lot.
They move into Loudoun County. They move out. New families come in who have never heard of Calvary Temple’s history and have no idea what has happened there over the years.
And that’s how history gets lost.
A family walks through the doors today and sees a church.
They don’t know about the families who were there twenty years ago. Ten years ago. Five years ago.
They don’t know about the people who left.
They don’t know what happened to them.
They don’t know what happened to their families.
They don’t know who Bob Scott is or what has been said about his leadership over the years.
They don’t know the history.
And that’s exactly why I’m still writing this stuff.
Because this didn’t end in 2015.
The tactics Tactics was writing about then did not simply disappear.
They are still happening today, as I write this in 2026.
That’s why MCTTBC exists.
I’m not digging up old history just to keep an old story alive.
I’m documenting a pattern that, from my experience and what I continue to hear and observe, has not gone away.
I was there.
My family was there.
I know what happened to us.
And I know I’m not the only one.
There is also something else that should not be forgotten.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office investigated allegations of child sexual abuse connected to Calvary Temple. That investigation was publicly reported in 2015, and there was later a criminal case involving a former Calvary Temple deacon, Kevin O’Connor, who was charged in 2018, and convicted in 2020 with sexual offenses involving a teenager.
As of 2026, my MCTTBC material continues to report that the Sheriff’s Office investigation of members in Calvary Temple into allegations of child sexual abuse remains open.
There is enough history here that you should not walk into Calvary Temple without knowing what you’re walking into.
Don’t take my word for it.
Do your own research.
Read the documents.
Read the testimonies.
Read the news reports.
Read the Scriptures.
And then make your decision.
Because you may walk through those doors and see friendly people, hear Scripture and think you’ve found a church.
You may not know what happened before you got there.
And you may not know what is happening there now.
That’s why I keep writing.
That’s why I keep telling my story.
Because people need to know before they go.
The faces change.
People come and go.
The building is still there.
But the history doesn’t disappear.
And neither do the tactics.

The break was great. Who wants to keep pounding away at a knucklehead such as yourself Pastor? Nobody would want this job. God called and said “Go. Warn this man to stop his wicked deeds and beatings of my children. If he repents and restores I will forgive him. If not, I will judge him.” God had sent you men, women and children to warn you of your evil ways. Instead of heeding their warnings, you destroyed them and mocked their words and slandered their reputations. So God has sent a nobody to reprove you before all the world-wide Church. When judgement comes, the Church will praise God, knowing that He defends and avenges His scattered and bruised sheep. God hates what you are doing to His people. You are a foolish shepherd. The staff of your authority is broken. You will be broken and humiliated and mocked and tormented and alone. As you have done to God’s children, so it will be done to you. Do you recall the names and faces of each one you have wounded to the death? Hear their pleadings, see their tears, recall their horror and disbelief at your destruction of hope, life and family. Let it haunt you day and night, until you confess/repent/restore or face Gods judgement. Tick. Tock.
But God says, “Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts:and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden” (Revelation 2:20-24). “And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts” (Revelation 9:20-21). “And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
